Just back from a trip to Destin, Florida for the 2007 Spin-in. It is hard to believe that people travel from all over the country, and sometimes even from as far away as Great Britain, to sit and spin together, but they do and it is great fun.
It was a wonderful five d
ays and I am back home with even more fiber and some new information to make my spinning even better. I have cashgora and polwarth and alpaca socks and merino and of my such fun. My friend, Sally and I had promised we would help each other exercise control when we were faced with all that lovely fluff but we failed. As we decided on our return home, we are supporting the arts by our purchases and that is a n
oble thing. It was great to see the ocean, walk on the beach and watch the sandpipe

of the surf.
